An HVAC technician’s day starts in a myriad of ways depending on their responsibilities. If they are on-call, for example, it can be at almost any time they receive a client’s call. Each case is unique, and timeline to completion varies depending on the complexity. A regular day usually starts by touching base with the main office. There the day’s duties are divvied up among the available technicians of the day. Depending on seniority and experience jobs can vary and options can be increased or decreased. Standard Duties for an HVAC Technician
Standard duties is another one that falls into the category of it varies. The nature of the tasks at hand may change from a few big jobs to relatively minor but numerous tasks. An HVAC technician can also specialize in specific types of jobs depending on their preference. Some technicians can do mostly full installations or replacements. These techs usually may do one to two jobs a day at the most. Others can specialize in small repairs and additions.
